Apprentices of Sheet Metal Workers Local 33 can receive course credit towards an associate degree in a program offered by Owens Community College (Findlay, OH).
Facility & Certifications:
The Toledo Area Sheet Metal Training Center is state-of-the-art. It is 24,000 square feet and contains classroom and lab space. We are approved to certify members in TABB, Welding, Hilti, OSHA, Lift Training, CFC, First-Aid, Signaling & Rigging, and Fire Life Safety.

We cover the following 13 counties in Ohio and Michigan: Williams, Fulton, Lucas, Defiance, Henry, Wood, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Hancock, Seneca, Lenawee, and Monroe.
Applications are accepted at the Toledo Training Center:
On the fourth Tuesday of each month
11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There is a $15 non-refundable application fee – cash only
Qualifications for applicants are as follows:
A valid driver’s license must be submitted at the time of application.

Training Coordinator Bio: Dan has 25 years of trade experience. He has 20 years experience as an instructor and has been the training coordinator for the past 7 years. He is also a test facility representative.

Senior Instructor Bio: Stan has 44 years of trade experience. He has 32 years experience as an instructor.
